Ancient Appian Way, Catacombs And Aqueducts Park By Electric Mountain Bike In Semi-Private GroupPedal on the Ancient Appian Way, a 2300 year-old cobblestone Roman road while going past an ancient sepulchre, a Roman statue, the ruins of a circus and an imperial palace, the Christian catacombs and pagan mausoleums; then leave the Ancient Appian Way to head towards the ancient Roman aqueducts rising over the fields on the horizon and follow them on their way back to Rome. Enjoy a ride through the Roman countryside that so well impressed 19th century travellers such as Byron, Goethe and Stendhal.

We ride carefully chosen city streets, but some traffic is unavoidable to connect the Ancient Appian Way Park to the Aqueducts Park. In the remaining 60% of the route (riding in the parks) we encounter no trafficOn Wednesdays (all year round) the morning Appia Plus is 6,5-hour long. In addition to this, the tour may last up to 6,5 hours also every day in the period: January 15th - February 12th 2025This tour will not run on November 22nd, November 29th, December 6th, December 13th, December 20th in 2024On Easter Sunday (April 20th, 2025), the Catacombs are closed. Therefore the 6-hour Appian Way Tour will NOT run on this dayThis tour doesn’t include a meal.
