Around 11:30 a.m., the bus will arrive at the foot of the impressive Mont Saint-Michel. Lunchtime is approaching and your guide will offer you options to savour local delicacies in selected restaurants. Make the most of this time to sample the region's specialities and recharge your batteries. Once satisfied, start exploring Mont Saint-Michel, also known as the "Wonder of the West". Day 2: Loire Châteaux and their Historic Elegance After a restful night's sleep and a tasty breakfast in Angers, the day begins with a drive to the majestic Loire Châteaux. A brief stop near the Château d'Angers will allow you to admire its imposing presence and listen to the guide's historical notes. A drive of approximately 100 kilometres will take you to Langeais, where your first encounter with the Loire châteaux awaits. In Langeais, you will be guided through two exceptional châteaux: the oldest keep in France, dating back to the last millennium, and the Château de Louis XI, erected in 1465. The historical setting is brought to life with realistic wax figures, allowing you to immerse yourself in the history of France. After the guided tour, you will have free time to savour lunch in Chenonceau, about 45 minutes away. Your guide will point out options for you to enjoy at your own pace. The tour continues to the Château de Chenonceau, a historic landmark on the banks of the Cher River.
