Next we head on to the Chianti Classico region – the oldest and most genuine area. We make a break at a typical Tuscan winery where you visit the cellars and vineyards and taste the wine produced here.We continue to Siena, a city nestled amongst three hills, for a guided tour of the city centre. Admire the Gothic cathedral, town hall and Piazza del Campo; the location of the world renowned Palio horse race. We end the tour with a visit to the dramatic medieval fortress of Monteriggioni before returning to Florence.
